Hinged door system
Our fireplace features a hinged door for effortless access. To open the door, simply place the cold door handle in the slot opening adjacent to the door. Then, gently slide the handle downwards. This secure mechanism ensures a smooth and easy door-opening experience.
Space Efficiency
The hinged door design is notably practical for spaces with limited vertical clearance. Unlike retractable door systems, it doesn't require additional height for the door to slide up. This makes it an excellent choice for rooms with lower ceilings.

Porta maniglia
La maniglia è inclusa di serie per facilitare l'apertura e la chiusura della porta. La maniglia è disponibile in tre colori: Nero, Terracotta e Oro Acero.
Alimentazione dell'aria fresca
L'alimentazione di aria fresca può essere regolata utilizzando la maniglia in dotazione. Il massimo apporto di aria per la combustione si ottiene quando la maniglia scorrevole viene spostata completamente a destra.
È preferibile far scorrere la leva completamente a destra quando si accende il fuoco. Quando la legna da ardere è ben accesa, dopo 10-15 minuti, il regolatore d'aria può essere rimesso in posizione centrale.
Se la maniglia è in posizione centrale, il caminetto brucia alla potenza termica nominale. In questa posizione, la combustione e l'efficienza sono migliori quando il camino preleva almeno 12 Pascal.
Spostando la maniglia più a sinistra si riduce l'apporto di aria e quindi la resa del caminetto. Quando si fa scorrere la maniglia più a sinistra dalla posizione centrale, si riduce l'apporto di aria nel caminetto. Quando l'alimentazione d'aria è nella posizione completamente a sinistra, il fuoco nel caminetto si spegne.

The possibility of choosing between a ceramic heating bottom or a 20mm steel bottom with a cast iron grate and ash pan is available for the Optimum.
The ceramic material used as the heating bottom is renowned for its exceptional thermal properties. This option is perfect for heat retention and a consistent, extended heating experience. Moreover, the ceramic is an organic material, emphasizing its natural appeal.
On the other hand, the 20mm steel bottom, complete with a cast iron grate and ash pan, offers a distinct set of advantages. The minimalistic steel construction provides durability and strength, ensuring it can withstand high temperatures and the rigors of daily use like the ceramic bottom. The grate and ash pan are thoughtfully designed to facilitate convenient ash removal. This option is ideal for those who favor a more minimalistic fireplace setup combined with effortless maintenance and cleaning.
Flue Pipe Reducer
Metalfire offers the solution for seamlessly adjusting your flue pipe from Ø180mm to Ø150mm. This optional accessory allows you to achieve a perfect fit for your unique installation requirements. Ensure your system is tailored to your needs with this versatile addition.
Positioning the appliance
The fireplace is equipped with 4 adjustable support feet.
The height of the support feet can be adjusted both inside and outside the fireplace.
If the highest position of the support feet is not sufficient, a supporting structure must be built on which the fireplace can be placed. This must be sufficiently solid and stable to support the weight of the stove
Fuel: Wood
To obtain optimal combustion, the moisture content of the wood should be no more than 15% If this is not the case, the glass will quickly become soiled and appliance will be less efficient. To achieve this moisture content, the wood must be dried for two to three years in a dry well-ventilated place. The most suitable wood types are beech, oak and birch.
Each of our fireplaces has an optimal wood load: for Optimum models we recommend 25 cm logs. The use of resinous wood types, chipboard, laminate, treated wood or accelerants is strongly discouraged, as it produces sparks and a short burning time. It also harms your fireplace and the environment. Please consult our manual for detailed instructions per type of fireplace.

Like the 'Original' vertical cast-iron slats, the 'Triangle' and 'Round' versions exude minimalism. The 'Triangle' cast-iron slats represent a more angular approach to the inside of the fireplace, while the 'Round' cast-iron slats - based on a design by Belgian architect Benoit Viaene - are characterised by gentle curves.
